1. Introduction

Welcome to 4Log, an application developed to assist in monitoring and managing deliveries in real time. This Privacy Policy explains how 4Log collects, uses, stores, and protects user information, especially driver location information during the delivery process. By using 4Log, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Location data

During a delivery, 4Log periodically collects (every 5 minutes) the driver's latitude and longitude (Lat/Lng) coordinates. This information is sent to the system server (backend) to allow route tracking and delivery status monitoring.

4Log only collects location data while the delivery is active, that is, after the driver clicks "Start delivery". Data collection is automatically interrupted when the driver completes the delivery or ends the session.

2.2 Identification data

The app may collect information necessary to identify the driver and the delivery, such as:

  • Driver's name or identifier;

  • Internal user identification within the system;

  • Vehicle license plate (when applicable);

  • Delivery or order code.

This data is used exclusively to associate location coordinates with the driver and the corresponding delivery.

3. Purpose of Data Use

The data collected by 4Log has the following purposes:

  • Monitor delivery progress in real time;

  • Display the delivery status to the customer and the logistics center;

  • To ensure traceability and security of operations;

  • To improve the operational efficiency of routes and deliveries.

The data is not used for marketing, advertising, or tracking purposes outside of a logistics context.

4. Data Sharing

4Log does not share personal data with third parties, except:

  • When there is a legal or judicial obligation;

  • With contracted logistics partners for the execution of deliveries, under a confidentiality agreement and for a restricted purpose.

5. Data Security

The data is securely transmitted to the company's server via encrypted connections (HTTPS). The information is stored in databases protected by authentication and access control, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access.

We have adopted technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or improper destruction.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Location and delivery data are kept for the period necessary to:

  • Complete the delivery;

  • Generate operational reports and histories.

After this period, the data can be anonymized or permanently deleted.

Users can request the complete deletion of their data by submitting a request through the contact channel described below.

7. Your Rights

The 4Log application requests the following permissions:

  • Access to location (GPS): required to record the route and update the delivery status.

  • Access to the device's camera: required to record the delivery confirmation or document signed by the recipient.

  • Access to local documents gallery: necessary when there is no internet but the driver has taken a photo as proof of delivery.

The app does not collect background location data outside of the context of delivery. Data collection only occurs when the driver manually activates "Start delivery" mode.

8. User Rights

According to applicable legislation (such as the General Data Protection Law – LGPD, No. 13.709/2018), the user has the right to:

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data;

  • Revoke consent for data use;

  • Request clarification regarding the handling of personal information.
